LEXI: a lexicon of digital space

These are screenshots of a program I made for the web.

LEXI builds an array of randomly selected words from a list of the 10,000 most commonly used words in the english language; searches for corresponding images of a random index via Flickr; then maps the images to cubes.

The idea was to design a virtual space for disparate words and images to collide and form novel associations and ideas.
