418: grid + vertex

This video demonstrates three FSR nodes assigned to particular locations in a 3 by 1 grid.

When a force is applied to a sensor, a vertex is added on screen based on its position in the physical world. For a while, I was blowing up Processing by creating thousands of copies of the same vertex. Now it works better and I can really start designing the behaviors I want the program to exhibit in response to the sensor data.

Since these are force sensors, I plan on using their values to control some visual parameters. Some I’ve been thinking of are line fidelity, opacity and lifetime duration.

I’m also looking for linoleum to cover the sensors once installed in a space.
